About Us

Designing surf fins and bodyboards (Manta inventor in 1985) has taken 34 years of experience for Terry and Ryan Fleming. Now a new era has begun with the launch of the new Propel fins.

Born and raised at Bronte beach in Sydney, NSW Australia, Terry was always involved in all aspects of making surfing equipment, long boards, knee boards, wave ski's, and then the first to invent / innovate the use of beaded polypropylene foam as the core structure in high performance bodyboards. His invention changed the world-leading board manufacturers into thinking of how to make performance bodyboards. Now BPP foam is available in nearly all top brand performance model bodyboards.

Terry has been designing Bodyboard Fins since 1989, firstly making the famous Manta 'Blade' fin, then 5 more brand fins before finally designing PROPEL fins as the fin that has all the best features a performance fin requires.

Now the company, run by Ryan is established in Forster NSW and distributes Australia wide and into all the world markets. Designing futuristic and functional surf products will always be a determined challenge for the company.
